I thought that this series of images would be neat if I included the best untouched image as well as the HDR converted image. The top image is the untouched image and the bottom one is the HDR converted

All this shot lacks is a cup of steaming coffee on the chair arm. (Sorry - I don't know where these thoughts come from...) I do wonder if you took any portrait shots of the chair and spool "table".

Shawna, your general landscape has so much appeal to me. I guess it's the vast space that seems to surround your subjects and the absence of people; the feeling of time after people. Your shots accentuate the stark emptiness, and the treatment you give them makes them come alive. I can almost feel the ghosts of the past. I know you also do wonderful portraits/people shots, but these desolate buildings are beautiful.
