This was 2 experiments with the same image. Which one do you like better? and why?

I agree with Derlitograph. The processing is impressive. You've definitely managed to catch a mood here.

@Helen: Thank you very much. I am very impressed with myself also. This was just an ordinary street image and I was playing with it and I couldn't believe my eyes when this turned out so great.

Tony from Canada

I just love the way this picture looks. Something like after a nuclear war.

Superb image...
Devoid of people and such a disturbing image for reasons I dont know or can put my finger on??
Super processing..left me speechless..

@Steve H: Thank you. It was a cold day, not Armageddon !! But it is really working.

I really do like both images!!! Very well done! I'll have to try your assignment myself! It sounds interesting.

@Craiger: It was a lot of fun and I will do it again. It really makes you look at everything around you at all times, even in the car, while you are driving!!!. If you are shooting digital it doesn't matter sometimes what you shoot and sometimes it is those images that wow you

Yep, still like this one!

I like this one the best. Why? Well, I like ink drawings very much more than paintings --as a whole anyway. I don't know why, but I must have a preference for the more graphic image with harder lines. I find this image more like an ink drawing and the other more like a painting. Also, perhaps, this image is form, shape, line, and the B&W treatment eliminates the superfluous element of color.
